About Chance 4 Children

Founded in 1996 under the motto “Every Child Deserves a Chance”, C4C is one of the longest serving and most far-reaching non-profit organizations in the Czech Republic. Besides its Dr. Clown initiative, the charity lends a helping hand to orphaned and socially marginalized children and has won international acclaim for succeeding in improving the quality of life of thousands of children in need and at risk.

Since its inception in 1996, C4C has raised more than 850.000.000 CZK (38 million USD) in direct aid to help the most disadvantaged and needy children in the Czech Republic. Dr. Clown teams have visited more than 897.000 children and people in hospitals and homes for the elderly country-wide.
