Rules for accepting financial donations from the public
RULES FOR ACCEPTING PUBLIC FINANCIAL DONATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC
1. BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION

Purpose and objectives of the association:
Founded in 1996 under the motto "Every Child Deserves a Chance", Chance 4 Children (C4C) is one of the longest running non-profit organisations in the Czech Republic. In addition to the Dr. Clown initiative, it lends a helping hand to children from orphanages and socially excluded children. It has received international recognition for its success in improving the quality of life of thousands of needy and vulnerable children.
You can also help with a donation - Donations claimed as a tax deduction:
Natural person: the value of donations made to the association can be deducted from the tax base if the value of the donations in the tax period exceeds 2% of the tax base or amounts to at least CZK 1,000; a maximum of 10% of the tax base can be deducted.
Legal entities: the value of donations made to the association can be deducted from the tax base if the value of the donation is at least CZK 2,000, a maximum of 5% of the tax base can be deducted. A donation contract will be drawn up between the donor and the donee.
In return for material or financial assistance, we offer companies and businesses the opportunity to place advertisements on all of our promotional materials and website. You can also become a godfather of one of our projects.
We are still intensively looking for new sponsors, companies or even small donors. We cordially invite anyone who wants to see how to use the funds raised to visit our association.
2. DEFINITION OF TERMS
DONATION is a sum of money given by a donor to the account of the association.
DONOR is a natural or legal person voluntarily supporting the association in the form of a one-off payment or repeated provision of funds to the account of the association, i.e. a donation within the meaning of Act No. 89/1989 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended..
The association manages the so-called donor base, communicates with regular donors, informs them about the association's news. Donors are issued with a document confirming the receipt of the donation (e.g. for tax relief purposes), or a donation contract is drawn up.
4. METHOD OF MAKING DONATIONS
Donors can help the association with their monetary donations as follows:
- cashless via the payment system on the website of the association,
- cashless payment by VISA or MasterCard on the website of the association,
- by direct deposit to the account No. 1002228214/2700
Donors can make regular donations of any amount; there is no minimum or maximum donation. A donation does not commit the donor to any further or different performance.
5. DATA PROTECTION
The association is obliged to process the personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Act No. 89/1989 Coll., Civil Code, as amended, in its annual reports. If a donor requests not to be included in the annual report, the association shall comply with the donor's request.
Donors' personal data are processed in accordance with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation).
The association does not provide donors' personal data to any third parties.
6. FINAL PROVISIONS
Before making a financial donation, the donor is obliged to become properly acquainted with these rules, and by making the donation, the donor confirms that he/she has become acquainted with the purpose for which the association was founded and with these rules.
